Skip Type Strander / Bow Twister for the multi-strand twisting of bare copper 1000 m/min
The Skip strander / Bow twister consists of bearing stands made of welded steel for the rotor hubs and transmission shaft bearings .The stranding rotor is built up from rotating hubs which carry the real rotor parts – the steel bows. These bows form the sinusoidal pathway for the wires from the individual reels to the stranding point. The reels are held in cradles which are positioned inside the bows between the hubs .The machine is equipped with wire break detectors for each segment , pneumatic disc breaks and individual drives for the Stranding rotor the Capstan and the Take up .The operators desk gives full control over parameters like Rotor speed Lay length , and production length .A LCD text display provides messages to guide the operator and to detect electric faults which direct references. The machine is controlled by a PLC control, which is located in main cabin together with the drive converters , power supply , fuses etc. The machine is delivered completely.
Machines are also built for special applications with one large reel at the stranding point for sensible core material.
